First, water enters the water pump from the radiator and thermostat, then it enters the oil cooler and the main cylinder bore. Finally, it goes to the cylinder head bushings, radiator cooling fan, thermostat, etc., and this rotational movement continues until the engine temperature reaches a balanced level.

Rusting of the blades inside the water pump
As a result of using empty water, using non-standard water, or not adding antifreeze to the water, deposits and rusting of the internal passages of the engine occur.
The deposits that form inside the radiator narrow the water channels and eventually cause them to clog. On the other hand, these deposits create thermal insulation and cause heat dissipation. This type of problem can also occur in the bushings, block, and cylinder.
In order to remove the deposits, the upper and lower radiator sources must be opened and the channels opened using a tool called a skewer.
Of course, in channels where the amount of deposits inside them is very high, this operation does not work, and in this situation, the entire radiator network must be replaced.
To descale the water inside the cylinder, it must be immersed in an acidic solution and, depending on how thick the deposits are, kept in the solution and finally washed and dried using hot water.

Replacing the diesel generator water pump To replace the water pump, the following steps are performed:
First, the diesel generator must be cold and the radiator water must be drained.
The radiator bolts and hose clamps must be loosened.
The radiator must be separated from the engine.
Next, the impeller and pulley bolts and the bolts around the shell must be loosened.
Finally, to close it, the shell gasket is evenly tightened with the water pump bolts, and then the impeller and pulley, and finally the radiator bolts and hose clamps are tightened.

First of all, you should know that this component is like the heart for humans, and its absence will cause the device to malfunction. However, it may have some disadvantages:
Due to the water pump bearing or bushing failure, there is a possibility that this part of the device will make noise during operation. Also, at times, water may leak from the water pump. Sometimes, the water pump blades may break, which is caused by the water freezing inside the cylinder block when the temperature drops and there is no antifreeze.
